No idiot.

The reason you are an idiot is because you say TM7 cannot cover Calvin Johnson. Hey idiot, who the frick can cover Calvin Johnson?

Here's another question for you, idiot. If TM7 makes an NFL roster and lines up in coverage, is he going to be covering Calvin Johnson on every play of every game?

I have to agree with him. He's not big enough to cover most NFL receivers. Every time he had to cover a receiver bigger than him, he looked like crap. Will probably make a team as a returner though.

I know hes short, but not much shorter than other cbs that have had good careers. 6 foot corners seem to have troubke with guys like steve smith. Well almost every corner had probkems covering that guy in his prime. I see a 5'6 sproles catching the ball and flipping 250lb defensive players over his back. Size isnt everything if you can play.

He would have trouble with calvin johnson, but who doesnt?

Tyrann is not a NFL DB prospect. He is a FS prospect in the mold of eric weddle, jim leonhard, earl thomas, etc. On the smaller side, but quick, great ball skills and instincts, and can cover in man, although better suited for zone. If he can show the same fluidity he had last season in work outs, a team will take a change on him in the 4th or 5th round.

But NFL receivers are on a whole nother level than what he played against in college. I want to see TM7 try to pull the ball out of Calvin Johnson's hands. Megatron would just throw him off and laugh.

So if you can't cover Calvin Johnson , you don't belong in the NFL. So about 95% of the corners in the NFL don't belong in the NFL.

No I'm using Calvin Johnson as an example idiot. Get over it. The kid is not a cover corner. Anyone who's not watching the game with blinders on can see that.

LSU82Bill he ripped TM7 alive. He said, " they can't put him back there and ask him to cover people it's not going to happen"

Jabari greer is short. Lance moore is short and atls cbs coulnt cover him.

Again, if you can play, size isnt everything. And one thing people firget is the guy can takle.

You also might think that as the NFL and its rosters have expanded over the years it has made room for a lot of undersized, unproven players to get one or two years in the league, that otherwise would have been spent in college, for scouts, and GM's to finalize their evaluations, before sending a lot of kids packing.

I'm not an ESPN hates LSU guy but Robert Smith seems to go out of his way to shite on anything associated with LSU.

On sports nation they all thought hed make a team, just split on him getting drafted. I think the poll was close to 60-40 on him being drafted. One of the reasons they said was we werent as good this year and that hes a diff maker. Just maybe needs to play fir one of the cali teams.

So it seems like a lot of people think he will at least make a team. Its funny how our fans eat their own. I know im not excluded from that on occasion. The dude screwed up, but hes talented and will be given a shot and i dont see why a team wouldnt at least try the guy out.

I usually take what Robert Smith says and think the opposite.

95% of DBs in the NFL are made to look silly when they cover Calvin Johnson.

Mathieu isn't going to be a 1 or 2 corner. More than likely he'll play strong side safety or in nickel and dime sets. I don't see any team putting him out to cover WRs on every play. not that he couldn't do it, it just doesn't fit what he does best.

It's definitely a passing league, so he'll have good value for whoever gives him a shot.

Sort of a silly statement, given that pretty much every receiver he ever had to cover in college was bigger than him.

I'm not going to say he will be an NFL pro bowler. I'm also not going to say he has NO chance of making a team and making an impact either -- provided, he somehow figures out a way to get his shite together.
