It has always felt to me like coaching has held this team back. jj was the worst qb I had seen since aaron brooks. it always seemed like all he did was get worse. How could this genius head coach not make a change? Sorry I'm late on this but I just made my account yesterday. If you're gonna disagree please give me something other than win loss record. bad quarterbacks on good teams can still win, but it holds your team back when you play good defenses!

Wow bro, how profound. this has never been discussed on this board, ever.

I guess that settles it, because my eyes have been opened. Fire Les. Love purple, live gold.

LSU doesn't have a monopoly on talent, other teams are more talented or just as talented. The QB position has been weak for the last few years. Miles deserves the blame for not having a competent QB, but also gets credit for winning without one.

Just because it felt that way to you, doesn't mean it's accurate.

And we still beat everyone we played with him at QB last year.

I don't think Cal Ripken was the most reliable baseball player of all time, prove that he was without using the games-played streak.

Yea, and with a shitty qb at the helm we won the sec, beat Saban (twice), and almost won a national championship. Run his arse now!

Dude... duck and never come back unless you do some serious arse-kissing on the Rant. That kind of logical talk doesn't fly around here.

Yet we've still managed to find ways to win. 13 times last season.

Go ahead and delete your account. We have enough idiots on this site already. All that matters are wins. As a fan, I don't really give a shite about graduation rates, player GPA's, discipline records or any of that off the field bullshite. But I keep up with all that and pretend I actually care about the players, all because the better those things go, the better my teams chances are for..... WINNING!

It is not exactly all Miles fault in regards to the QB situation. Perriloux was a very good one who forced Miles and the program in to a bad situation. He recruited and had on campus Zach Lee who was going to be all world and also had Kiel in here who pulled his shenanigans. Now we have the one EVERYONE wanted last year and it didn't click right away for him. He has recruited big time QB's here, they just haven't all made it in to the system or worked out. He's done pretty good considering huh ?

JJ and JL are gone.

Do you have anything to say about Mett?

And, there is nothing more important than winning.

85-20, 49-19 says it all. Sorry, if that shits all over your coaching holds LSU back topic, but it does.

What he did last year with that QB situation was remarkable. Getting to the National Championship wasn't even a thought at the beginning of last year. Did you think LSU would get there?

bad quarterbacks on good teams can still win

Out of the hundreds and hundreds of National Champions and Super Bowl Champions, how many times has that occurred?
