They do a very good job of representing our state IMO.

yeah like when they walk outside a store and some random guy drives up on a lawnmower in overalls and no shirt? Very good representation of the state.

I love Phil, I've met him a couple of times and he is authentic as it gets, but I just cannot stand watching the show. It is just so ridiculously scripted and contrived.

They weren't the ones doing it.

All they themselves ever do is represent the state in a good manner from what I've seen.

It is scripted. But funny. My kids love it. We watch it and laugh the whole time.

Better than the Disney junk that they watch.

Of all the ones out there i find it to be the least. Or at least done well enough that it is enjoyable. Duck Dynasty is the best show on TV IMO.

I think he was talking about the kids saying "yes sir" and "no sir", being kind to people, putting faith and family first, teaching children there are things aside from Hollywood that classify as "entertainment", the value of a dollar, stuff like that.

And if the rest of the world thought Louisiana behaved like the Robertsons, and went around town on tractors with no shirts on spitting tobacco like that guy, I'd be fine with that too.
