Now count all the dropped balls this year to last year and get back to me with these stats. Mett's numbers would be stupid good if our freaking WRs held on to the ball before the Bama game.

Now compare the stats of the last 4 games of the year now that Mett has experience as a starter and a command of the offense. Those fools last year shite the bed in the last quarter of the year.

stats are pretty misleading in this case considering all the outside forces. this years team would be smoked by last year. Not because of qb play but because of supporting cast.

also last year id suspect we had much better field position and our oline wasn't dog poop for over half the year.

I think next year mett is a much better comparison against last year jj/jl.

It could be the year 2057 and we will still have threads like this.

I'd rather have a qb begin to peak late in the season, as opposed to falling apart.

Not a fair comparison.

Lee was great for the first 7 games of the season. He led the SEC is passing efficiency before Les benched him in favor of his chocolate love child. Our passing game didn't go to shite last year until Jefferson started.

All you have to do to make Mett struggle a bit is take his first round left tackle away, start a hurt guard in that place, take away his all sec right guard and tackle, hurt his all sec center for most of the year, and take away the top receiver from a year ago. I'd say all told, it is remarkable he did that well.

Imagine if we ever played another QB in any other game how good they could be. We played the two stiffs last year most of the time. This year, Rivers has played at least one play in like three series. Hard to develop QB talent doing that.

Years of SEC Exp?

Mett - less than one

JJ and JL- would you like to add them together or average?

Huge difference maker-

all this really illustrates is how deceptive stats w/ no context can be.

There is no way in hell that JJ had a rating higher than like 75. He was god awful.
