How do you do your turkey

Im doing the family turkey at my girlfriends Thursday. It's te first time I'll ever cook one so im just looking for ideas.

Dry brine will still be effective. Roast.

He still has time to brine a turkey.
Why wouldn't he just do that? Makes it nearly fool proof with a meat thermometer imo.

Still has time to dry brine also, with the added benefit of the turkey not tasting like ham.
Meat thermometer is a standard no one should be cooking a turkey without.

I know this may sound stupid...but it has happened to most ...reach in and make sure to remove neck, gizzards, etc.. should be in a bag inside the bird.

Put my 19lb. Turkey in a brine bath tonight. Will take it out tomorrow for some drying time and then roast it on thanksgiving morning.
