So a shitty conference gets even shittier?

That about sums it up.

The Under Armour guy must hate his money. The Big-10 is obviously a more desirable conference, but $50 million more desirable? Don't know about that

Ugh, this sucks. Regionalism makes college football special, and it's being thrown away.

And this makes no sense seeing as how the B1G was too good for Mizzou 2 years ago. Now they're ok with Maryland? Ridiculous.

sounds like time for the SEC to grab 16 before we're left with scraps

16 team SEC needs to happen, 14 is unsustainable.

I am in the minority, but I like the additions of Maryland and Rutgers. Gets the conference in bigger and better markets.

meh, although Rutgers excites me even less (assuming they decide to go B10).

Wow @ the GT rumors.

It's amazing how honest this can make you about your attitudes and respect towards other conferences, when you're considering who you want to play year-in and year-out.

I think GT is a better fit with the B1G. I could see that being good for our attendance/excitement around the program.

Rutgers is ranked, could potentially land in a BCS bowl and now - if these stories are correct - heading to a real conference.

2012 might be the best year in the history of the football program.

This should provide some interesting insight in regards to conference realignment.

Does the DC and New York market really give you more exposure - those are professional towns that swallow up any real college broadcasts
