Butch Jones, Sonny Dykes, or an NFL coordinator

Who would you want to lead your program?
I like Butch Jones, he is getting it done in Cinci. NFL coordinator would be a young up coming coach like O Brien at Penn State.

If I am Kentucky. I offer Jones whatever he wants. He is already recruiting to the area.
If Jones doesnt work out I would hire Dykes.

Bill O'Brien had 13 years of college coaching experience with his last college season being as recent as 2006 before Penn State hired him. If you hire a NFL coordinator with a lot of recent college coaching experience, it could be successful. If you hire someone like Jack Del Rio who has never coached in college, it almost certainly will not end well.

Go with Dykes and throw it all over the place. He's getting close to the same quality of recruit he'd get at UK

I suppose of those options, I would go with Jones, but coaching and recruiting to Cincinnati in the Big Least and coaching and recruiting in the SEC are different.
Yes, he's getting it done at Cincy, just not sure how that would work at Kentucky.
I would be OK with a NFL coordinator that has been a college HC or coordinator as well.

From the options you listed... Greg Roman.

Cincy to UK is a lateral move. I don't see jones going anywhere until Kelly leaves Notre Dame. The best option is a NFL guy or Taggert.

Don't be like typical Arkansas fan and over value the program. Kentucky football is on par with Iowa State or KU. Cincy football program is better than all 3.

Not trying to be, but you have to compare more than records. UK is in the SEC, and Cincy is in the Big East. It's a lot easier to be successful there. Kentucky has proven it can be successful against the big boys, Cincy never gets the chance.
Not saying Cincy is not a good program, but it's like comparing apples and oranges.

I'm not too sure Dykes would like Kentucky. No offense, but he's a Texas Tech and Pac 12 kind of guy. Now, I'm not saying he wouldn't take the job.

I'm afraid this should be an Arkansas thread.

No way Taggart accepts that

He coached at UK before. You do realize this?
