I see him as a scoring roll player, not a featured starter. Just my opinion.

I don't know what he is after how he played in the Finals.

I think he can probably still score in the 20's but don't think he'll be a very good #1 option and won't really make his teammates around him better like a franchise player should.

He's a role player. I think he will struggle in Houston. If I'm a Thunder fan, I'm happy this dude is gone.

Guy is a solid, well built, "good" player. But he's not some elite "scorer". I would have concerns if he was the #1 option. Still like him as a player though.

He's a very good player. Not a great player. Can't believe he wanted a max deal.

I think y'all are seriously underselling Harden. It's not like he just sat around and shot wide open jumpers all day with OKC, he can create his own shot.

Plus he has shown he can make clutch shots in big moments. I think he will be outstanding as a #1 option if he can embrace the mindset. He has all the tools to be a 25 PPG scorer in the league.

Good shooter and ball handler, and gets to the line at a high rate. I think he'll be very good as the main scorer. Helps that he's going to a team that will prominently feature the pick and roll, where he is awesome.

He has stop being so reliant on going to the left every damn time. I feel defenses will adjust soon enough.

He does have superstar upside though, despite the fact that I am not a fan of his game.

he works great on a team with a ton of talent where he is not spotlighted

I think Houston will be a humongous failure

He better get the ball the majority of the times if he is making over 13M a year.

Based on an 82 game schedule, he is making over 160k a game. I can't see a sixth man being worthy of 160k a game if he isn't scoring a shite load of points and logging some serious minutes.

Houston will hate this decision before it is over, IMO.

League will be fricked after the Rockets trade for Rudy Gay or Zach Randolph. Lebron is lucky there was a season last year because he isn't winning another ring.

Reminds me of Michael Redd.

Rockets Backcourt will challenge for assist lead. Both very unselfish players.

Harden is coachable enough to not jack the ball up 25 times a game, he'll get his teammates involved.

I say 23 PPG is a good number for him.

I agree as a Houston fan I am worried about his role as the go-to guy, and I had this doubt before he came to Houston. Houston can afford to screw up because there isn't anything at stake and hopefully we don't get tied into a terrible contract.

He struggled at times as a 3rd and 4th option last year. Had a bad finals. Likely he will be a solid starter, shooting 40% and getting 15-18 a game...they are paying him too much, he is not happy with the move, etc.

He is a piece for the future. There is more to come from Morey. Houston still has max money to offer another FA even after they extend Harden. Look for Houston to be busy in the FA market in the upcoming year. Harden will be the #2 option once Morey's plan happens.
