Absolutely. The media is drooling over the prospect of ND in the championship game. Nobody will keep them out but themselves.
If ND and Bama win out, there is no better $$$ matchup.

I think you're probably right. Years like this are good examples of when a 4-team playoff is the best option. Also years like 2003 (bs "split-title"), 2004 (undefeated Auburn left out) and last year 2011 (mulligan) come to mind. I'm sick of the BCS and am glad this is the last year of this doodoo.

If LSU wins over us then they should get a shot at it over those pussy conferences. The best team Oregon will play is USC and they suck. KS beat Chokrlahoma, who cares? If the big 12 wanted a team in the BCSNC game they should have scheduled a Big 12 championship game. So, it should be a 1-loss or better SEC team vs #2(whoever that is).
Bama will go if we beat LSU but lose to TAMU in a close one.

You can thank the Pollsters for those abhorrent decisions. The BCS would have been the greatest thing since sliced bread had they minimized the polls importance in the rankings.

Weak Schedule, LSU would get in before Bama.
However No 1 loss team is getting in over those teams if they go undefeated.

The only reason Bama went last yr was cause there were no undefeated teams left to play LSU.
Hell, Bama was pretty close to not going over a one L OSU team.

Well it is true that Bama is one of the only teams where their resume doesn't really matter that much.
Last season OSU looked more deserving, but Bama won the eye ball test. It didn't make sense last season for them to jump OSU's obvious computer advantage and this year it would be even dumber for Bama to jump teams I they had 1 loss.
