Is there any doubt that LSU is much better offensively at home?

Just looking at the offensive stats for home games compared to away games is staggering.

On the road against AU, UF, and A&M; LSU is averaging 13.7 first downs/game, 147.7 rush yds/game, 141.3 pass yds/game, 289 total yds/game.

At home against USC and UW; LSU is averaging 23 first downs/game, 250 rush yds/game, 171.5 pass yds/game, 421.5 total yds/game.

Maybe there is a litte hope we can be effective offensively next saturday.

The offense was a different shade of vanilla in College Station.

Actually yes. Some teams are much better at home and some are better on the road. Last year was the exception in that it didn't matter where we played. This year with all games included we are averaging 41 ppg at home and 19 on the road. This team statistically plays much better at home. Maybe because of the youth and inexperience.

It's the ghosts of all those guys whose ashes have been sneaked onto the field helping out.

On the road were tougher teams. This will be totally different Nov.3.

I'll give you UF but I don't think AUB and A&M are much tougher than USC and Washington

Definitely fortunate that we are playing them at home this year. Not saying home field will be why we win, but the offense will definitely benefit.

LSU's (passing)offense is awful. No other way to put it. If they complete a substantial percentage of long/medium passes against "Bama, I will be shocked. SHOCKED!

Probably Mett being more comfortable and less noise means less penalties.
