Bayou Blackout!!!!

now i know im gonna catch alot of shite for posting this but please read with an open mind...
yesterday herb. was talking about how LSU is usually(not of recent) a team that has "swagger"... like last year not only were we stacked but we also had swagger... and other teams knew it...
this year we are still stacked but the swagger isnt their....
what would yall think if 1 game every year we wore all black unis similar to the Saints all black unis except we would have purple piping/stripe.... with a matte black helmet with the tiger eye.... and all the fans would wear black LSU attire to essentially blackout the stadium
i know its a RADICAL idea for all you traditional ranters who like our jerseys but one game coming out in those would be sickk...
i mean were FRICKING DEATH VALLEY....

Good try man. Not on this board though. I would like to see some sketches though of what you're thinking. I've always been a huge fan of the eye being the brand logo for LSU.

I think it is a horrible idea. It's a gimmicky thing for programs that aren't elite like us. Look at current teams that are doing things like this (except for Oregon for obvious reasons): Maryland, Oklahoma State, TCU, Notre Dame.
Other than the Pro Combats every other year that Nike requests us to do, the only change in uniform should be our purple tops.
We are an elite program that shouldn't need a gimmick like this to have swagger. We had our first glimpse of swagger this year vs SoCar, and we will be swaggin to the max against Bama.
