I just stated in another thread that I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Chavis punched Miles in the nose after this game.
There is no way the staff watches film together. They have to have offensive and defensive viewing rooms on opposite ends of campus.
Nobody would accuse Miles of having anything to do with the defensive personnel or calls. We would be better served if the same were said on the offensive side. And if this is the case, he should be firing staff mid season, or taking over himself. But, I don't think he's a capable coach from kickoff to final gun.
Chavis is the mule, no doubt.

How many 3 and outs did we have? Not too many I remember. Did we struggle on third down early yes but it was after moving the ball earlier in the drive. Plus I guarantee you chavis would rather us run 3 straight times into the defense and punt when inside our own ten rather than let mett take shots on the road in sec play.

Ware and Tear = great nickname for one of our RB combos.

Keep pumping that sunshine Lonnie, we'll need it after Bama wipes their asses with us in 2 weeks. With the current offense we have, we'll be lucky to score 10 points.
If you don't think that Chavis and his defensive guys are not pissed about being hung out to dry week after week by this abortion of an offense, then I don't know what to tell you.

you have no idea what Chavis is thinking...stop pretending like you do

I'm sure the OP is not saying sling the pill all over the field a la the Air Raid attack. Chavis, I'm sure, would love to be spotted a 2 score lead. Winning is great but if part of your offensive philosophy is to spot a team a 12 pt. lead, intercept the ball at your 50, get a pass interference 3rd down conversion on a ball your WR wouldn't have caught anyway, get a 4th down conversion on a play with your RB at QB, score TD then recover a fumble, miss a couple deep balls then hope that your below average WRs makes a hell of a diving catch on a slightly overthrown ball to take the lead...that's simply not a recipe for sustained success. Again, I don't think the OP was saying lets play pitch and catch...just give the D one or two early non-defense aided scores and the defense can bring it home in a fashion where the team and the fans don't need an alka-seltzer.

calling out coaches is ok now?

Yeah that's an awesome attitude to have w your boss. Especially the one that negotiated a higher pay rate.
Had a couple of overthrown balls. WR's could actually catch something. Beat a top 20 team in a hostile envoronment. Did good?

Offense plays poorly and it's all Miles' fault. Defense plays exceptionally and it's solely because if Chavis.
frick you.
frick you.

why don't you try that with your boss first to see how brilliant the idea is. of course, your job (if you are old enough to work) probablly doesn't pay you $1,000,000 per year.
