Are you/me/any of us really sure about that? You don't think he see's dropped balls, horrible throws, penalties and thinks its ok?

I am sure he is well aware of the offensive woes. Playing on the road is always tough. When the offense executes they are actually not that bad. Everyone complains the offense is to basic and sucks, but when we try to open it up, we turn it over or just drop passes and waste downs. He was trying like HELL to get some passing going (something everyone is always bitching we don't do enough of), but when it's not pretty we should just run it? That won't work in 2 weeks

He [Miles} doesn't think there is a problem [with the O]?

That could explain his stubbornly predictable game plans. That makes sense in a depressing sort of way.

All of this only begs the question, 'why'?

Why the incessant parade of blunders? This was game #8 and we still look like it was the first game.

Why do other teams play on the road and seem to get their O's to function (e.g., OM vs Bama @ BDS; scored 2 TDs off sustained drives and not during trash time and with players we don't even recruit).

Don't expect any changes, it's been like this for years. Just hope they have a "good day" at the right times like they did vs S. Carolina. Its been like this for the past 5 years or so.

you are right. I agree with you 100%!! It's a matter of Les going out and hiring the guy but most likely he won't. That's the paradox of being an LSU fan.

and for the trillionth time he does not use a plethora of passes in his playbook enough like i have laid out. he relies too much on comebacks and slants. which the other team knows is coming...see what brian griese said. there are tons of passes we barely run.

I guess no one realizes that our ball control offense helps our defense.

yeah all those 3 and outs really helped us against UF. If we had some passing to get 1st downs on 3rd and long they could get a longer rest.

you realize you can use ball control with running and PASSING????? especially if you get first downs??? and use up clock?

oh wait that's right we hardly use

delayed swings
circles
angles
drags
ins
hitches
crosses

If only we had a coach like Spurrier to lead this team. His offense did so much better verse Florida. And his defense did a stellar job yesterday.

The offense changed dramatically in 2009.

2009
2010
2011
2012

So for four years we've seen the les miles offense

One good year with a RS senior starting, the rest very very poor

Right; it was all Metts fault.

Nevermind the coaches calling 3 passing plays in a row in the 3rd, going three and out

Or the up tempo offense called when Lsu needed to bleed clock

can you not read? seriously? I posted this above and you still do not get it. you think it is just about passing and not SELECTION OF PASSES????? Did you not see the faggies squatting on all those comebacks and slants? Did you not hear BRIAN GRIESE criticize miles trying to pass in max protect two WR routes so much and how predictable it was????

It doesn't matter who it is. Miles is the man in charge and the offense will be ran the way he wants it to be ran. PERIOD.

Yep. The good and bad news is that LSU will keep winning ugly until Miles decides to hang it up. I mean really, really ugly. But I remember the '90s and I can live with ugly wins.
