Curious symbol that cross. Many were crucified on it and condemned as criminals including Jesus. So if they had the electric chair available then, would Christians worship a symbol of the electric chair? If he would have died by lethal injection, would a needle be the symbol of Christians? If Jesus was shot, would a gun be the symbol Christians worshiped, prayed to or kneeled in front of? Something to think about.

It's a public institution or did we forget they cannot endorse a religion.

The cross represents the struggle and the sacrifice, not the "murder weapon"...but nice try at being witty.

Bump. Does anyone care that Herb Vincent altered a student photograph picturing student fans with crosses painted on their chests because he didn't want anyone TO GET OFFENDED?
