Yes I do. What great effort by that LSU football team. That guy behind center, Tyler, isn't he the guy so many say doesn't know much about the game of football?

I still remember going to that game expecting the Tigers to lose. I was 12 and didn't really follow football much outside of going to games, but I knew that UF ALWAYS beat LSU.
I could have sworn that the two teams traded players. I remember thinking in the 4th that UF would somehow come back, but I was wrong.
It was amazing to get to see the goal posts torn down. The crowd carried a post and kept thrusting it in the direction of the UF band as they continued to play. It was unsettling yet gratifying all at once.
This game really thrust me into being the Tiger fan that I am today.

I remember standing there at the end of the game crying like a baby along with the guy that sits behind me. We had been lost in the wilderness so loooooonnnnnngggg.

One of the best games played in TS.

That game was the first date my wife and I ever went on

I was there.
Great night.
I believed.
Still have grass I pulled from the field.

Banks as a true freshman destroyed them.

I remember...having tickets and desperately wanting to go. But my stupid high school team played for some odd reason on that Saturday night. I was on the team but was injured for the season anyways. In hindsight I should've just quit and went to the LSU game.

i will nver forget that day as long as i live
going from my freshman season in 92- the worst in lsu history to that moment was seemingly impossible
- the "work em silly gators" sign pregame
- charging the field- got caught up in the rush at the fence, ended up doing a flip over it and landing on my back, feeling no pain
- carrying the goalpost around
- doing "grass angels" near midfield
- spending about 5 minutes in the SE corner flipping off the UF fans still there while yelling "the fun is done!!!!"
- still have a bag of grass from that game on my wall in my lsu room

That was the game that I quit praying for wins. If ya got to pray for a win, then your team ain't there yet.

what a game. i remember it well; i hope some of you young posters watched this. it is one, AND ONLY ONE, example of great.lsu football before saban and should kill these myths..
myth #1 lsu football history started with saban
myth #2 saban inherited no talent from dinardo
it really does piss me off when people completely discount LSU football before saban. LSU made saban. yes, he began an era where only excellence was acceptable. but the TAF and the adm finally understanding the beneficial economics of paying top dollar for top coaches and buildng great facilities are the long term causes of our programs rise. saban was not near the coach he is now. he grew and LSU gave him the big school stage to do so.

Drove in from Birmingham for the game. Yelled so much at that game I couldn't talk for three days following. Loudest event I can remember witnessing in TS. DEFENSE! Dinardo crowning achievement.
