What would yall recommend as the best lite-med weight rain gear, regardless of price. After this weekend, I have had enough!

Arcteryx beta ar, it isn't sold as a raincoat, it's an alpine mountaineering coat, but it is 100% waterproof and only weighs 15 oz.

I'm gonna have to check them out. Is it warm, or more just a rain jacket?

It's a light/medium weight shell, waterproof zippers and arm pit zippers if it gets warm. I usually wear a Barbour coat when it's cold, but if it's cold/raining I'll layer underneath the Filson

They make a wading jacket that's similar that you could wear a camo vest on top of

It not being camo doesn't really bother me. I just want a good rain jacket that will keep me dry and somewhat warm. The blind will hide me well enough.

If you're not worried about price, don't get frogg toggs, get something better. They don't last very long and they'll soak through eventually, and they're noisy. I use them for fishing and hunting, but only because they're cheap as far as rain gear goes and work pretty well (until they wear out at least)

Just buy a parka and bibs that are waterproof

I have cabelas bibs and redhead parka I use for deer hunting. They work well in the rain but in LA it's too hot to use them until late Dec/Jan

+1, the rain shell on my big jacket comes off and if it's not too cold I'll just wear that. My water resistant bibs are too hot to wear while the temps are above 60* though
