I am in the market for a nice semi-auto to hunt ducks with.
I am considering:
Benelli Super Venci
Browning Silver
Browning Maxxus
Any other good ones in this price range($1200-$1600)?

I shoot an SBEII. If I was in the market right now it would be between the SBEII and the Maxxus

I have a Maxus and love it. Super easy to clean and the auto-loading feature is great as well. Doesn't kick bad and is very light. I think for the money it is the best value, but just one man's opinion. goodluck.

I don't think its worth the price but the SBEII is the best semi auto on the market.

Saw a piece on the new Browning A5 the other night on the outdoor channel. It's using the inertia system like the benellis now. Supposed to be a damn fine gun. I've always been partial to my brownings.

I am partial to Brownings as well.
But own a Nova pump(which my son uses), he owns a Mossberg turkey gun(which I use).
I have used a Browning Gold for the last ten or twelve years and it has been super dependable, but it is blued with a wooden stock and I don't like to bring it out in the rain etc.
ETA
Thanks for all the suggestions!

If you ever want to be more undecided about buying a shotgun than you already are... ask a forum for advice.
Seriously though, if you have friends that have one or another, go shoot them, or at least shoulder them.
Go to a gun store and shoulder each one you're thinking about, whichever one feels the best to you is the one you should get. They're all quality guns, and they all have isolated cases of malfunction. When you do get a gun, clean it, before you shoot it. If you have any problems, get with the manufacturer BEFORE you try to fix anything yourself, or send it to a gunsmith.

Thanks!
The fellas I share a blind with shoot Vincis and Berettas.
I have shouldered both and like them.
Someone mentioned Franchi earlier. They are somewhat less expensive than these others.
Good guns?

Seems like they are hit and miss. Kinda right along with Stoegers. Seems some people have great service out of 'em and others just wanna throw their's in the river
