On the Dan Patrick Show he just mentioned that Manning had a left hand gesture he used. A defensive player for the other team that used to play for the Colts told his teammates what the gesture meant. In the meantime, Manning had changed the gesture and burnt the CB on the first play of the game. Must have been Jason David, I know he got burnt pretty early in that opening season game.

Actually IIRC, Jason David had a strip return for a score early in that game. But he was burnt as toast the rest of the season

No. Actually, never got a real shot after his stint with the Saints. He was signed by the Detroit Lions on November 3, 2009. He was waived on November 9, 2009.

I like how on a lot of those plays, Thomas will sort of stop and look at the ball.

"Oh. He threw it."

I don't think there was another player that frustrated me more than Fred Thomas.

Thomas looked like he didn't have a clue on most of those. He constantly ran underneath only to let the WR go up field, was never running full speed until the WR was up the field, didn't even attempt to...well, it all involves the WR being up the field.

I used to get upset at Fred Thomas but y'all forget how he was out there straight up beating nig*as with a cast for 6 weeks.
