In my mind, I'm already there.

What's it like? I was on a job off-season once and decided to detour to ride around campus. Thought the grounds and layout were very nice. Think I remember the Baseball stadium being nicer than Jordan-Hare. Looked liked it would be a good road game to attend though...

Went 2 years ago and it was awesome. We just walked around and it was a blur.
Sky bar is awesome too.

Game is gonna be a blow out this year so I'm not going in the game but I will be down there

Honestly, it depends. If it is a night game, it will be a lot of fun. However, if it is a day game, it's really not all that great. It's a small town. I have friends that went to Auburn, and we would have a good time, but it's nothing to write home about.

I went two years ago. Saw a cane field catch fire and a AU fan puck in front of us at the game. It was not a bad trip except for the not winning part...

2nd favorite SEC road trip town behind Athens

SEC roadtrips I've been to
Athens (multiple times)
Knoxville
Starkville
Oxford
Auburn
Tuscaloosa
Hotlanta (SEC championship and peach bowl)

Not taking the game into account (bc Tuscaloosa would win). I'd put Auburn #2 behind Athens

Been there about 1/2 dozen times. Never had a problem. Win or loose, some of the nicest fans I've been around. Gotta go to Cheeburger Cheeburger is damn good eats. Some decent bars. Traffic is a MFKER! Only bad trip was 2010. Cam Newton and being revived by my auburn grad buddy on the English Dept lawn. But, that's another story.

Auburn and Alabama are cyclical. In my experience having lived there over the years, the fans are mostly cool if their team sucks. It's when they're good that they're douches (see Bama fans currently).

So Auburn should be a fun trip. Sky Bar is a good time. I had fun at the Supper Club too, but I had way too many at the shot bus out back. Kind of a hole in the wall, but Auburn's a small town. Traffic can be bad, but I'd stay in Bham or Montgomery.

I really regret not going in 08 and again in 2010. Now, I probably won't get the chance to go for a while.

My friends that have made the trip all say it is a hell of a time.

I have been every time the game has been in Auburn since 04. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I always stay in one of the hotels very close to the stadium so that I don't have to drive anywhere. The traffic looks like a nightmare, so you should plan to stay put for a while if you aren't staying within walking distance.

Been a lot. I hate it actually. They have best tailgating after us imo, but just hate the town and people. Its funny to constantly run into bama fans there also. Didnt like their night life. Went to a couple frat parties over the years, some good, some lame. Also doesnt help weve lost the 5-6 times ive been.

Ive even been when LSU wasnt playing. Have a bunch of friends that went there.
