Dunn went to FSU only because that fricking abortion of a coach wouldn't allow him to live at home close to his little siblings.......

I can't even imagine what life was like for Warrick Dunn his senior year of high school and every day since then...

quote:

On January 7, 1993, Dunn's mother Betty Smothers, an off-duty police officer escorting a businesswoman to a bank to make a night deposit, was ambushed and killed by armed robbers. Three men were sent to prison for the murder, and 2 remain on death row. Dunn, two days after his 18th birthday, became the head of his family and raised his siblings.

He's a pretty damn stand up guy. I remember every year at the holidays WAFB would show him presenting another family with a new home...

quote:

Dunn established the Homes for the Holidays (HFTH) program in 1997, and started Warrick Dunn Charities (WDC) in 2002 as a way to grow programs and services. The HFTH program rewards single-parent families for reaching first-time homeownership. HFTH recipient families are chosen through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity affiliates and WDC with complete home furnishings and down-payment assistance. As of July 2012, HFTH has assisted over 115 single parents and over 300 dependents in Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Tampa and Tallahassee. By providing families with a positive home environment, WDC believes that children can thrive educationally, socially and economically.

Back when Broadmoor High had an actual football team on the field. How many kids dress out now, like 30?

Anyone who actually believes we had a shot at either Manning is on crack! That was just BS the Mannings put out there so they wouldn't get too much crap from the NOLA crowd. I remember Archie on a call in show when a fan asked if he was ok with Peyton possibly going to LSU. He gave a long laugh and then said, "I would be okay with it, but his mama wouldn't let him back in the house!"

How about Michael Stonebreaker back in the late 80s? Had a great career with Notre Dame.

He's not the biggest, but would have been a nice one for LSU.
