We *do* have a chance, but it's a puncher's chance. We aren't bereft of talent in all positions, but to win against a team like LSU on the road at night? We'll need big plays, turnovers, people to play at a level we haven't seen before, maybe even injuries. In short we'll need to catch breaks. If we played this game 20 times I'd say we win 1 or 2. That's still a chance.

If they showed a slip betting $1000 on UW to win straight up, then you can say they're insane.
i agree. theyre fans. of course they have a shot. its not a good one, but i think last years exceptional season has clouded the memories of some of the tiger faithful. from 2007-2010, LSU didnt man-handle every team not named alabama like it did last year. they often struggled putting away significantly inferior opponents, see: 2010 north carolina, WVU, florida, tenn, ole miss.

I'm not sure about a field day, but they will move the ball. And so what you are saying is Husky fans are more reasonable than 90% of the Rant.

teams the finished 8-5(with tons of early season suspensions in this game), 9-4, 8-5, 6-7, 4-8, respectively. our big bad 11-2 record was pretty deceiving. all these games were within a TD, and some- tenn/florida/tenn you can make the claim we were downright lucky to win.

Don't sweat it man. English is at best a third language here in Louisiana.

I'm glad some Huskie fans are coming in for the game. Pass a good time tailgating.

How dare you bring a reasoned and objective opinion to the Rant. Seriously though, I think this is right on the money. Upsets, even big road upsets, do happen, and they are usually set up by turnovers, big plays, and the favored team either making mistakes, or taking the other team too lightly.

Without Toliver's great game in 2009, that game is a coin flip.

The Huskys have a great tight end & as we've come to know, a good QB hitting a good TE moves the ball on us, fairly easy at times. However, they have to play defense as well, & our offense should wear them down in the second half like most SEC teams do to out of conference opponents. But I certainly do not see a blow out unless turnover get out of hand.

LSU fans actually believed we had a shot against Bama in the NCG, too.
