I think attendance will be fine, but tailgating will be down a little

Four old ladies in Section 422 will skip it, but that's it.

What kind of question is this...

A lot of people very shortsighted on here about how others were affected.

High School and College kids (The majority on here) are short sighted and self centered by nature. They can only see things from their own selfish perpective and not from somebody elses point of view. Most of em could care less about how Isaac affected other L.S.U.fans. It doesn't even enter their thoughts.

This ticket was just not a big draw.

Everybody anxiously waiting for the big draw Idaho and Towson games. Those two will be the really tough tickets.

Hey LSUAD, how about opening every season with either Tulane or USL. Alternate each year. One year open up with the Green Wave and next with the Rajun Kiddies.

Either of those matchup's would surely have a lot more interest than North Texas and put a few more butt's in the stadium.

Like N.Texas, Idaho and Towson, they're easy wins and we get to see a lot of the backup's play. But in direct contrast, sadistic pleasure is had by all from watching the Tigers beat the crape' out of two teams we all love to hate.

I'd say the combination of people still dealing with the after effects of the storm and playing a mid major, it will be down. My guess is 83,000

I would think it will have a big effect. I currently have a foot and half of water surrounding my house. I also live east of Ponchatoula and am unsure of how the dam situation will effect me. Unless things drastically change I won't be using my 2 tickets. Will be the first home opener I have missed in 20 years.

I have two extra tickets. Asking $250 each, plus a surcharge of $50 each. First one to ask gets them.

Ticket exchange

Please read the 5th, 6th and 7th post prior to mine. They all referenced getting rid of tickets. I guess you also assume I was serious.

I'm going to head over and try to get a cheap cheap ticket outside the stadium before the game with a buddy. Wasn't planning on going, but since I believe I can get a ticket slightly cheaper than normal I'm going to scope it out. Can't wait to step that first foot in Death Valley for the year.

How cheap do you want a ticket to be? It is N Texas, even if Issac had not hit you would have found tickets cheaper than face.

Stubhub last week had east uppers for like $20 each

-post hurricane game
-north Texas opponent
-raining at game time

This will be the worst attended home opener in quite some time IMO

We've had sell outs for how many years now?

It wouldn't take much of a drop off to cause this to be the "worst attended home opener in quite some time"
