Isaac should head somewhere in between Ruston and Shreveport which means Ruston will take quite a pop from some of those eastern bands. Hunker down fellow Rusvegasers as our turn is only getting started. Heavy rainfall and the tornado threat will be ours and Shreveport's concern.

I'm here

I expect my pecan trees to shed about 300 lbs worth of limbs tomorrow and for my grass to grow 3 feet by the weekend.

I'm from Natchitoches but spent 10.5 years in the military so I missed Katrina and Rita in North Louisiana but I remember when Andrew hit our area. That was a scary night when you're a kid.

Woohoo! I was feeling so left out with all these other threads and nothing for Shreve.

Any idea when it's supposed to hit this area?

There isn't a Tropical Storm Isaac board nor do I see it picking up steam between here to there.

*** Official Bossier City Update ***

So far I have several leaves that have blown into my yard and the neighbors down the street have even had their Mike Nerren sign slightly bent over We are pulling through the best we can At one point our food supplies were running low but Johhnys Pizza was still able to deliver to us even though we had retreated to our fall back position on the roof ( we were up there smoking a joint )
