Next stop... Grand Isle.

That peninsula it made "landfall" on has been under water for a couple of hours now I'd imagine.

Bob Breck said Landfall and showed S la wind speeds. 48 was the highest. Where is the 80 MPH

Right there. There's nothing for a good 25 miles in any direction of that little strip of marsh it crossed.

That looks like southwest pass, which may seem like a small little strip of marsh, but is actually where all the BIG boats enter the Mississippi river

Sounds about right. Keep hearing high numbers but I haven't seen better than 63.

It is and I'm being a little sarcastic but I wouldn't really call that "landfall".
