Has anybody mentioned Napoleon Dynamite?

Terminator Salvation
I very much liked it. People get too caught up in the time travel paradox stuff with these movies. Plus, after 3, it was hard not to be pleasantly surprised with 4.
Rambo (2008)
The movie was exactly what it was supposed to be.... Rambo completely fricking people up. It was what I expected, it was what we got!

The Box
Loved every weird minute of it. I could have watched a 5 hour director's cut. I had no clue what the hell was going on and I liked that I had no clue what the hell was going on.
Only sour taste from the movie was the ridiculously bad Diaz accent.
Oh, I am also a fan of Lady In The Water. Both of these movies are pretty soundly hated by the majority of the movie board.

Leon, I get what you're saying. And I enjoyed most of those movies. I don't go to see every movie expecting Oscar quality. I just enjoy going to the movies.
Now I was really disappointed by Superman Returns. I did like Brandon Routh's portrayal of Clark Kent. He really got a lot of Christopher Reeve in the performance. But the story sucked.
I actually feel sorry for people that go to see every movie looking for everything they can find that's wrong with it.

Routh was much less of a problem than 21 year old bosworth who would have had to have been molested at 15 or 16 by Superman to have a kid that old.
She is easily one of the worst casting decisions for a movie in my lifetime.

I completely agree about Routh.
I thought his portrayal of Superman was perfect. The story was terribly written and Lex Luthor was a completely underwhelming villain.
Great Superman. Terrible story.

I liked this movie more than most people too, but it did suffer from the typical problem of superman not having cool enough villains. The whole Lex Luthor thing is not interesting and always devolves into camp.

I actually agree with the detractors that the story was not great, Kate Bosworth was awful, Lex Luthor was too evil and not a great villain regardless, but dammit it's Superman!!! They could put the Superman outfit on a mannequin and I would have enjoyed that movie over and over! There is absolutely nothing they could do to make me not like that movie. I simply love the whole Superman character way too much, and I have never read a comic book in my life. As it is, I saw Superman Returns 3 times in the theater alone and have seen it multiple times since then. I even enjoy Superman 3 and 4 because, dammit, it's Superman!
Some movies I will give a massive pass to because I am just so happy to see my favorite characters on screen. I can tell you right now I will love all 3 Hobbit movies and will see each one about 3 times in the theater even if each one gets a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Joe vs. The Volcano. I liked it a lot, but I seem to be in a very exclusive club.

No shite, and it had one of the best lines ever in it. "Losers are always talking about their best, winners go home and frick the prom queen"

I actually am not a fan of any of these movies, even office space. I don't get the allure, but that's just me.

BOSCEAUX,
Glad to see I'm not the only poster that reads through and answers multiple posts in rapid fire fashion!

Can't go there but I am in for a quarterly viewing of Drumline. Probably not as big a fan as Mariah Carey, but I like the story and the music.
