The same goes for Michael Bay. Most of his movies are terrible, but he makes boatloads of money off of them.

Why would you say that? Cowboys and Aliens wasnt THAT bad, but to say he's on a decline might be far fetched.

It was pretty bad. And Iron Man 2 seemed to be almost the same movie as 1, with one of the worst final fight scenes ever. For lack of a better description, the fight just "ended."
