Usually the rehab facility controls communication with the addict. I doubt they would appreciate ten thousand letters to sort through.
But they ave to because some people in this thread say its decent. Privacy be damned.

I understand we're all disappointed. I completely get that. I also understand that many of you have written him off - again, I get it.
However - all he did was make plays for us. By all reports, he is a good person. He is going through some tough times for which he is primarily responsible. His personal foilables have cost him already, and could cost him much, much more.
If you have written him off - fine - that's your business. If you think the OP is an idiot for wanting to reach out to another human being and express support - maybe it is time for you to look in the mirror, remember some of your worst days and ask yourself, "Do I want to be judged solely by my actions on my 20 or 30 worst days? Or do I want people judging me to know the whole story?" And even if a 20-year old kid appears irredeemable, what is the harm is saying, "Thanks for all those plays man. I enjoyed watching you and good luck!"
Is humanity and decency dead in the 21st Century?
Humanity and decency will live on if good people stand up and represent these qualities. I support your sentiments. Any show of support in this trying time and appreciation for his efforts as a Tiger, would be appropriate IMHO. I know if I was in his shoes, I would appreciate genuine support.

Anyone condemning he op for wanting to do something genuinely nice is a clown

Maybe you could ask him for an autograph. And a pic. For yourself, not your kids.

Unfortunately there are six locations in Houston. I don't believe any will tell you where he is located and if he is still there.

stick a $20 in there too...I always hated to get cards without money.
This! I'm a grown arse man and I still do the upside down card shake thing to see if a bill drops out.

The OP should just start a Facebook or twitter page in support of TM7 thy way he can delete all of the BS and then find a way to share or link that to his page if possible or send him a tweet to inform him of the page. Just an idea. I'm not big enough on either one to know if it's possible to do it.

Good suggestion. Wish I knew how to do it.

In rehab, they would not give that to him. Please let him be.
Wow, most of you don't have a clue what treatment is about if you think he can have Facebook and a Twitter account while in there!!!
