I can't remember if this has been discussed but what do yall think Jaqen's endgame was that had him locked in the dungeons at Kings Landing? He's a faceless man so I can't imagine he was caught in the act of any crimes and why did he let himself be taken by Yoren towards the wall?

Ok, Darry makes sense. They were the ones with Targaryen banners that Tyrion found?
Arianne & Aegon would be cousins correct?

If Aegon is who he says he is, yes.

which page in this thread, if it exists, expounds on what happen to Pate & what he stole, and who replaced him?

I do not know what page it was on, but I can sum up what happened with Pate. Pate stole a key from one of the ArchMaesters, sold it to Jaqen who's description as the Alchemist matched what he looked like when he left Arya at Harrenhal. Jaqen than took Pate's face. And to think Pate did all so he could get all up in some whore guts. :brokencasty:

Still doesn't make sense with Jojen saying when they meet Coldhands that he'd been dead a long time. Benjen could only have been dead for a few years at the most by the time they meet. A few years definitely is not a long time.

I figured the Alchemist was Jaqen, but wasn't sure if he became Pate. Didn't think the were the same size.

Yep. Bran could have figured it out.

Depends on who you ask.

Tor.com has released GRRMs excerpt from the Dangerous Women anthology.

The Dance of the Dragons is the flowery name bestowed upon the savage internecine struggle for the Iron Throne of Westeros fought between two rival branches of House Targaryen during the years 129 to 131 AC. To characterize the dark, turbulent, bloody doings of this period as a “dance” strikes us as grotesquely inappropriate. No doubt the phrase originated with some singer. “The Dying of the Dragons” would be altogether more fitting, but tradition and time have burned the more poetic usage into the pages of history, so we must dance along with the rest.

Any word on casting Victarion and Euron Crow's Eye?

Wasn't there speculation that the show would condense them into one character? Haven't heard anything on that lately.

I just thought they'd gloss over Victarion and Euron. I just thought they'd end Season 4 with Asha fleeing, Euron instructing Victarion to capture Dany, and then Euron sailing for the Reach to pillage it. Euron and Victarion won't be shown in the next season, and Victarion finally shows up in Season 6.

What is dead can never die.

The only Ironborn I actually like is Asha. The rest can all die painful deaths.

I don't really like him, but I feel bad for and enjoy reading Theon's POV. But yeah, I hate the others.
EDIT: Asha's uncle isn't all that bad and surprisingly civil and intelligent for an Ironborn.
