Do you feel better a-hole? I can't believe the piling on by this sorry arse fanbase. Most of us couldn't fathom his life. Born to a crackhead and a druggie who's still in prison. Mom gets her shite together but decides Tyrann is just one too many of her own kids so she gives him up to his grandpa. Grandpa dies while he's in high school and he needs uncle and aunt to step in. Went from nobody wanted him out of high school to being a heisman finalist just 2 years later. He had obvious issues, especially with his mom based on the way he reacted to the questions about her in the BCS pregame. If you can't feel a little bad for him right now you're just a self righteous prick that lacks compassion. He wasn't your typical been told he was great his whole life 5 star cocky athlete. Kid worked his arse off to get where he was. I'm sure none of us feel worse than he does right now.

I ain't heard anybody say it better than that, even on ESPN! Miles did what he had to do. But Man, I'm I gonna miss this kid.

Keep your head up Tyrann...
You have your whole life ahead of you to make good choices.

We all make mistakes, learn by them.

The LSU coaches and staff made the only move they could make and even though I completely disagree with the fact that weed is illegal, it doesn't make it right b/c what he did is against the rules and he's paying for his mistake. He had a city, a state and a great university on his shoulders and I actually somewhat feel sorry for the guy. Hell, we've all been that age and I can't even imagine what he's going through.

Maybe he and Ricky Williams become best buds.....pun intended

Wish him all the best. I hope he learns from what really happened and betters himself.

Both of you speak the truth. I don't hate TM but I also find it hard to feel sorry for him when he has totally brought this on himself. AND most importantly has proven he is not learning from his mistakes.

Last year he threw away his shot at winning the Heisman for the same problem. Took that away from himself and from LSU and LSU fans. And now playing on a team that many many feel will win the NC, he goes and knowingly does something that he knew before hand could get him kicked off the team. This team has been his life!!!

So I too find it hard to feel sorry for someone that continually and knowingly jeopardizes all of that and MILLIONS of dollars for something so inconsequential.

But like I said I don't hate the guy, just feel the people that deserve the sympathy right now or the coaches that gave him a second and third chance, the university that gave him a second and third chance, the fans and his mother, the retailers hurt finacially by this etc. TM had control over this, non of them did.

Hope he gets his life together. I truly do but so far nothing that has happened to him has rung his wake up bell.

F*ck the retailers, they shouldn't be making money off a kid that receives NONE of the profit.

That's a ton of pressure in that kid's shoulders and he didn't exactly have the most stable base to begin with.

Oh, and his mother is rotten piece of shite. It his aunt and uncle you should feel sorry for.

I feel like we focus too much on the team rather than Tyrann here. Hope he figures it out and has a great pro career. Really do wish him the best

wtf? You used it correctly in the second part of the sentence, but not the first.

I fixed it just for you. My iPhone autocorrects it all the time btw. It's not a fricking English paper to turn in.

People need to stop feeling bad for this kid, he put getting high as his top priority over his teammates. He was given a second chance over and over, apparently he couldn't get it through his head that if he wanted to smoke weed he couldn't play football. He chose getting high as more important in the end, you can't seriously feel bad for him. He'll continue to make the same mistakes in my mind, no doubt.
hb7 does not owe lsu fans anything, but he let his team down,put himself before the team and for that I feel bad for his team mates and not for him

You imply this is an isolated incident.

98% of similar offenses are swept under the rug.

do we drug test more than other teams? it seems we do. Miles has to enforce the rules, but maybe this should have been a three game suspension along with a lot of laps after practice.

1 failed drug test = warning
2 = suspension
3 = kicked off team

From what I understand this is a university wide rule
