I thought that was the reason to be honest with you.

Does it matter. He broke the rules, and punishment was meted out. SIMPLE.

Highly doubt it. I know the owner and I spoke to him immediately after the incident and nobody from NCAA contacted him. But hey - keep throwing speculations around.

Back in June a video was posted by "Mad Endz Clothing" with Honey Badger appearing in the ad promoting their stuff, along with a photoshoot. All links to the video were promptly removed from Tigerdroppings and then actual video has since been removed from Youtube. If you google "mad endz honey badger" there is still a link for the video but when you go to the link the video has been removed.

That site screams, "Buy this shirt and you can afford this background!"

Not likely. You don't boot one of your best players for an NCAA violation. In fact, you don't boot one of your best players during an NC run for anything other than drugs, murder or rape.

Who cares? He isn't on the team anymore.

Have you talked to him since? I've never seen any NCAA athletes advertising for company's.

I wasn't concerned about him.
I was more concerned about the accusation about a company on this message board and the impact/image you just placed on it with the other posters who run with this shite.
Young man that runs that company started it from the ground up an bust his arse while remaining in school.
But hey, keep floating accusations....Harry Reid.

It could have been an honest mistake by him not knowing that it would put TM in violation of NCAA rules. Settle down dude. I can assure you that regardless of what your friend/owner of the company told you, a player promoting a clothing line isn't kosher with the NCAA. I'm sure somebody made him aware of that or the video would still be up on Youtube, no?
Edited to add: I'm not saying without a doubt that any of this is the reason TM is no longer a part of the LSU football team but that was obviously something he and the owner of Mad Endz shouldn't have done either way.
