Like I wrote earlier, Jeremy Liggins was at practice today. Don’t know why, or what that means. The former Lafayette QB obviously signed with LSU, but did not qualify academically. He signed with Mississippi Gulf Coast, and was there for at least a month working out.

Just came across this and thought it was interesting, even if he is from Oxford. Haven't seen it posted.

Probably checking out what kind of players he'll be seeing the next couple years at MGCCC.

I predict that is where he will end up. We are full at QB. This year was his best chance to learn and move up our system. The 2 for 2013
will be well ahead of him by the time he is ready to transfer. OM will always have room for him.

you won't. We'll compete against him for 2 or 3 years but not until after the next 2 years.

You'll most likely compete with him at the Golden Corral.

by the time he gets here will have Rivers, Randall, Rettig, and Jennings. Maybe someone else from the 2014 class.

I don't think this will happen ever.

Really depends on how Rivers and Randall develop. One may be a bust at QB. If so, we'll be in a very similar situation as this year. One goto guy, 2 redshirt freshmen (most likely) who haven't played a down, and maybe a true freshman. While I don't think he'll return, he may be a good option for us under a certain scenario.

Wasn't it really 50/50 as to wheather this guy would even stay at QB in college. IMHO the handwriting is on the wall. With him not making it this year, I think the chances that he ever plays for LSU are remote.

It goes without saying that his development is important as to whether we would want him back or not. I'm just saying that things need to play out before we decide that we don't or wouldn't need him.
