Yeah you have to place your order and get your order number then they don't process it till they receive the FFL info where you are having it shipped. They are going to start shipping them on August 15th. The shipping address on the order has to match the FFL address. They are $119 from PSA

PSA and RRA are good budget brands. That's what I'd recommend.

Get what you can afford and learn to really shoot, all those add Ons look cool and shite but if you can't shoot worth a damn, what's the point? Invest in ammo and quality practice time not just Plinking

BHtigerfan some guys may make very broad statements concerning brands of ARs. DPMS, Bushmaster, and S&W make good AR15s. I'll agree with one poster who suggested Rock River Arms, because my lower is a RRA and the trigger in it is absolutely amazing. It has the RRA National Match 2 stage trigger. It sits below a DPMS 20" Hbar upper capable of groups like this... (@ 100 yards)

The four shots touching each other were my group from a bench. The other two are shooting standing, unsupported. If DPMS makes shite ARs, how does it explain that? Every company will have its lemons, even the gods at Glock will eventually not grace a customer with an astounding, reliable, plastic, ugly, bulletproof masterpiece. The good thing is most companies have great customer service and will assist you with any issue in a timely manner.

I would say the RRA is a great choice since it has an awesome trigger in it from the factory. You can buy a Bushy or DPMS and still be plenty satisfied. If you plan on building your lower, I strongly suggest getting a trigger from RRA, Geiselle, Jewel, or Timney. All make fantastic triggers that will make your AR15 so much easier to shoot. The stock mil-spec triggers aren't nearly as much fun.

Building your own will always save you money. I have a Smith & Wesson M&P 15. I paid $920 for it from Impactguns.com. Came standard with quad picatinny forend, low profile gas return, flip up Magpul sights and Magpul magazine. If your looking to build. I suggest the following sights:

Del-ton.com
M1sales.com
Impactguns.com

There are also good forends, grips and stocks at:

leapers.com
ATI.com

Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

You have the best taste in guns, olgoi. I almost picked it up myself. That is a sweet setup. I think I commented like "i envy the man who gets this" or something haha

ETA: Yep

"My god, that is beautiful. I envy the man that purchases it."

Matt. You have exquisite taste

ETAA: go to the "all new AR owners thread"

I gave you a shoutout

You know, now that you mention it, I am kind of exquisite.

I ended up getting it for $1750 and letting him keep the shitty light, but got 400 rounds of 5.56. The guy was a Marine and kept it pretty clean, but dry as hell. I broke it down and cleaned it and lubed the shite out of it (with slip 2000 EWG). I like my bolt and upper really greasy.

I buy and sell a lot, so we'll see how long I keep this one. I will probably get a nice atv out of it.

I don't really need it, I just built a Bravo Company. I started out with an eotech holosight and 3x magnifier on it, then switched over to an ACOG-RMR combo that I got in a trade (had to give a very fine Saiga 12 for it though )

I know how to clean the bolt, so I guess I'm not the guy that almost shot his buddy in the leg in the "new AR owners" thread.

Also, I disagree with all the people that say build one to save money.

You want to get a nice rifle with all the bells and whistles, get a used safe queen. People get the tacticool itch, buy one and trick it out, take it to the range and put 200 rounds through it. Then they stick it in the safe and never touch it again. A year later they aren't in love with it any more, never use it and need cash. You make enough lowball offers and eventually you end up with a like new high end rifle for half what it would have cost to build.

Get it home and take it apart if you want to learn how it works. Youtube is your best friend.

Same here.

Me too! I'll buy a ton of shite and flip it to make a little money, or do some modifications to improve it and then sell it.

This is probably what I'm about to run. I'm waiting for a good deal on a magnifier to pop up. I'll probably always think "man, that ACOG w/ RMR is sweet" then end up getting one.

It's a shoutout to your ACOG . 2nd Page
