Not one but two quarterbacks transfer to LSU

Coach Miles and his staff welcomed 103 players to campus yesterday, as the Tigers get ready to begin preseason camp today. As expected, Coach Miles welcomed former Penn State quarterback Rob Bolden to the team, but what wasn't expected is that Bolden was one of two quarterbacks to transfer to LSU. The other was Brad Kragthorpe of Idaho State, the son of LSU quarterbacks coach Steve Kragthorpe. I don't know a lot about Brad Kragthorpe except that he is listed at 5'11", 175, and that he redshirted last year. In his senior year in high school, he threw for 1,738 yards, 28 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 126-for-199 passes (63%). He also ran for 425 yards and four touchdowns.

Makes me think he learned from the JJ/Jl, Perriloux situations. One fricks up and we wont be shorthanded. Will weed out the ones without chest.

UHG!! THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY!! WHAT ARE OUR COACHES DOING!!??

Probably just to accommodate his dad, who has Parkinson's disease. Good to have family around when things get tough.

Need to start 50+ more threads on this guy.

Calm down people. Would you want to play at Idaho State or at LSU with your Dad as your coach?? I doubt the kid sees the field if our QB's are as advertised. Its a family move.

I'm shocked that the team would waste a walk-on spot for the son of the QB coach who is going to take some of the money he makes and spend it on tuition for his son.
OUTRAGEOUS

This....
Kid is coming from Idaho St, he's coming to be close to his family(dad) and I completely uinderstand that. He will hold a clipboard for 4 years and probably get a ring or 2 out of the deal. Well played sir

We finally have someone to fill T.C. McCartney's shoes.

Definitely here to learn from his dad and be with him. Not gonna be on scholarship. Not gonna dress more than likely.
