Just got a letter from LSU asking me to check a box if I have any experience as a QB.
The second box asks if I am willing to try to get that experience.
Addressed to "occupant".
Used to get these from Alabama regarding the "Jack" Linebacker position.

Everyone needs to calm down. This move does not surprise me at all. Les is a great guy. It is obvious he wants to put Steve around his son. As a father, I got to tell you that, considering Steve's situation, this news almost made me tear up. We are lucky to have Coach Miles. If we are up by 4 TD's, would it KILL any of you to allow this kid to take the field and have his dad call the play? There is more to life than football. Les gets it. I suggest you all do the same.

Agreed

I like LSU football. I am an SC fan born and bred, but I love College Football period, and follow all the big programs.

Besides, it is a lot of fun knowing more than my real life LSU friends do about the Tigers.

agreed....I'm sure Miles/staff are determined that there will be an orderly progression established with our qb's.

Maybe he can come in a be a solid scout team contributor.
I remember Jimmy Welker from a few years back, he saw maybe 2 or 3 actual game snaps in 4 years but I always heard he did a hell of a job running scout squad.
There's always a need for guys like this.
