Only tards thought mett would start last year. Les didn't even have a qb competition.

Mett was signed because Les didn't want to rely on rivers as a rFr. had Zach lee stayed, we would have never recruited mett.

LSU wasn't reliant on qb play last year and got to the championship undefeated.

With an actual downfield threat, LSU will roll this year. Undefeated perfect season.

We would have gone 12-0 in the regular season if only Mett would have started from the get-go

So, you tell me, should we have started the best qb? Was Mett the best qb?

If not, then why all the praises from the coach now?

Obviously not in the opinion of the coaches who are much more knowledgeable, and had far more data, than any of us.

Mett got out of HS three years ago and hasn't seen important action for a div 1 team for one reason: he hasn't been good enough. In his case the lack of ability isn't a weak arm or a lack of height, but a lack of self-discipline. That's a real thing. Let's hope he's improved, in that respect, enough to provide consistent competent QB play...but it's no certainty.

I don't recall if he was MVP, Lester, but he was all the rage at that camp. It's just a skills test, though; it's not game action.

Anyway, those camp yo-yos praise almost everyone to get publicity.

Then Why wasn't he the starter all of last year? IMO, he should have been!!

Do the math moron!

Mett plays all of 2011 season; wins NC game, competes for Heisman. ENTERS NFL DRAFT... GONE!

LSU credible QB's for 2012 season = zero

LSU record going into NCG with Mett on bench = 13-0

Despite all of this Lee or Mett should have relieved JJ in second half. Even with a comeback win Mett still stays.
