Mettenberger, looking REAL REAL good.

Of course, I'm sure all of you already knew that. Here's a great article on him. Was said to have one of the strongest arms at the Manning Camp. Don't underestimate his accuracy either. Eric Reid admits that it's "frustrating". Plus, as we all saw in the Ole Miss game, he can run, and he will when he has to.

I don't think anyone is underestimating him on anything.

Huge improvement over last year...when he was unworthy of meaningful snaps.

It doesn't take much to improve from last year

Mett must have improved alot from last year where he was unworthy of meaningful snaps despite incompetent QB play the last 1/2 of the year.

Cant wait for him to hit the field very exciting year for the tigers

Yeah, some say he has feet of clay but he seemed to scoot pretty well when need be. He might be one of those that gets a lot faster in 'real life' more so than practice.

Practice starts Thursday, we'll see for ourselves. Time to put an end to the offseason hype threads IMO

Meh, even the practice stuff means nothing. I will get excited when he is doing well after week three or so of the season.

Well at least they'll be scrimmages followed by the infamous preseason scrimmage thread

Is his huge hand injury that kept him off the NCSNCG field heeled?
Posted on 7/28/12 at 11:40 pm to Football_Freak
About as healed as it was on 1/9

Then Why wasn't he the starter all of last year? IMO, he should have been!!

We went undefeated and beat the frick out of everyone but Bama
Why would he start over 2 SR Qb's?

I think that when Mettenberger 1st takes the field against NTS there will be a deafening roar that may rival the earthquake game
