Yea, but cheating is nowhere near as bad as a child rape scandal

[quote]Oh I know you're just busting me but I wonder if smaller cities make it easier with the cops being in on it. I'm not saying it's for sure happening cause there's no evidence but there wasn't much evidence in happy valley a year ago....[/q
tuscaloosa is a small city and alabama has had plenty of sanctions.

Why was the last thread whacked about the punishment being handed down by the NCAA?

Serious question: do you guys think SEC schools are able to "cover it up" better because they are in smaller areas and not bigger cities?
No.
It's because Mike Slive insulates member institutions much better. He has a VERY prestigious law background that he uses to keep schools out of trouble. One of his first acts as commissioner of the SEC was to mandate that all infractions accusations go through the SEC offices, which they oversee/evaluate before forwarding anything to the NCAA. Generally, the accusation dies right here, and the "infractions" disappear to never be heard from again...
I think as many as 8 or 9 of the SEC schools were on probation at once when he first took over as commissioner due to turning each other in constantly...

So which division is pedo state in, is it the leaders of Pedophelia or legends of Pedophelia?

Didn't this just happen last week? I'm not on the high and mighty train but let's be serious, everyone cheats
Except Slive doesn't go around swinging his dick like they don't.
Case and point...

dammit! I was just about to celebrate no SEC schools being on probation and set the over under on how long until we get one on probation again. Damn cocks.

Two of the four "bellcow" Big Ten programs are under bowl bans next year, and both had to fire their head coaches for lying and covering up football scandals. But yea, the only reason the SEC wins is because we cheat and will do anything to win.
Nah, in all seriousness I think the NCAA sanctions on Penn State will be fun to watch tomorrow but will eventually be overturned either in an appeals committee or in a courtroom. Emmert is botching this in an attempt to look decisive and strong. Even private organizations have to follow their own bylaws and provide some form of due process.

"I love speed and the SEC has great speed, especially on the defensive line, but there are appropriate balances when mixing academics and athletics. Each school, as well as each conference, simply must do what fits their mission regardless of what a recruiting service recommends. I wish we had six teams among the top 10 recruiting classes every year, but winning our way requires some discipline and restraint with the recruitment process. Not every athlete fits athletically, academically or socially at every university. Fortunately, we have been able to balance our athletic and academic mission so that we can compete successfully and keep faith with our academic standards."- Jim Delany
Wow.

Yep, they can't say shite now. Raping little boys is way worse than fricking your sister and/or cousin (s).

Baton Rouge isn't really small enough for that. Cops screw up plenty of shite around here, but I think it's mostly just incompetence, not deliberately crooked.

What a phony, hypocritical piece of garbage! He must be awfully hurt from that glass house crashing down on him. The arrogance of that man is coming back to bite him in the arse.
And this may be the first time I've ever agreed with Monticello! What is the world coming to?
