Has anyone been able to explain the twin contrails? It kind of made me laugh when I saw it.

I'm just guessing it's because of his two legs. I mean, if he's flying close to the speed of sound.

I don't know the actor wearing the suit but he looks cool in it. As long as they put a beard on Zod, he'll look great.

Two feet?

So I just want to get this straight.

This is a reboot of a reboot?

So now superhero trilogies have a shelf life of less of a decade?

I actually like the teaser. It shows that Nolan and Snyder are giving Superman the Batman Begins treatment: telling Superman's origin story using "the Hero's Journey" as a model. The Man of Steel trailer reminded me of the the intial Batman Begins trailer - you don't realize its a story about Superman until the very end, and it strikes many of the same themes.

Of course, the Comic Con footage looks amazing. I assume they'll use most of that footage for a first full trailer that will debut with the big Christmas 'tent pole" films, as well as a Superbowl ad.

Superman Returns was pretty much a direct sequel to the Superman movies from the 70's, and it was frickin terrible.

This is a reboot of his origin.

Superman Returns was not a reboot. It was a continuation of the older movies, meant to take place between Superman 2 and 3.

This will be the first reboot since the first Superman movie starring Reeves.
