Even though LSU will be favored, that cult of Aggie fans will be sky high when LSU is in town for the first time in over 15 years. Should be a W, but IMHO will be much closer than it should.

As for aTm ticket prices, not just sticker shock-they've been charging north of $100/seat for big home games a while. Wouldn't count on seeing prices come down anytime soon.

My first LSU game was an A&M game.

A&M ranks 9th on LSU's list of opponents played most times, and we've played them more than we've played most teams in the East Division, including Auburn. A&M is our rival, we just haven't played them for 20 years.

Not every LSU fan is 25. It's okay if it's not a big deal for you, but it's a big deal for a LOT of people.

Arkansas eventually became a good team. You can count on AssToMouth being at their level much sooner than it took them. They already aren't too far behind. With their coming to the SEC, Texas recruiting grounds and storied program, they will become quite the opponent.

There is history between these two clubs and between battling each other on the gridiron, recruiting the same guys, heavy fanbases, close proximity, and penis envy, the rivalry will quickly become what Arkansas wanted.

Gary Tiger, it's not the Spanish spelling it come from the Tejas indian tribe. It has nothing to do with Spainish or Tex Mex language. ...For some you not understanding the LSU, A&M rivalry the series goes way back to the early 1900's. Just FYI

Houston has the largest LSU Alumni base outside of Louisiana. There are two LSU Alumni clubs here. College Station is just an hour and forty five minutes from the center of Houston. If you live in Katy or Cypress it is less. We all work, live by and go to church with Aggies. Will be a fun rivalry.

7 of my 10 partners are Ags and none of them want to take me to the game. I offered to bring the bourbon, be the DD for the drive back, and of course pay for my ticket. In return I promised full access to an LSU tailgate with all food and beverages supplied and a seat at face value for next years game in T.S.

Freaking sore losers already and the season has not even started.

There is history b/w the schools. A&M now becomes the closest school to LSU in the SEC. LSU has played A&M more than any other school outside of the SEC. GEAUX TIGERS!!

My first lsu game was also aTm. A loss sometime in early 90s. Even still I don't harbor any interest in that team. Just another conf game. I hate Bama first and always.

Texas A&M is just another game to me. They are Mississippi State of the southwest.

I'm willing to bet that Arky and A&M will be a hotter rivalry than LSU and A&M. Those two schools have a lot of history besides being old SWC foes. If I'm not mistaken, A&M was Arkys second most heated rival, after Texas, which was Arkys rival back in the old SWC days. The anticipation of A&M becoming a rival for LSU, reminds me of the anticipation of Arky becoming an LSU rival, when Arky first joined the SEC. Sorry, but I'm willing to bet that Arky and A&M will be one of the hottest rivalries in the SEC.

Won't most sec games involving lsu visiting another team be expensive? People like to see the best team in the country, they hold onto the idea that they can upset us, plus the talent on the field is worth the money.

The deal is that Houston leans way more A&M and LSU than Dallas. It''s on A&M to make the LSU rivalry worthwhile. But it has more potential than Arkansas.

I was excited because I went to bootcamp, A-school, nuke school and was roommates at my first duty station with a guy from right outside College Station. Been waiting to head to a game out there with him.

Houston also has quite a few Arky fans too. Dallas is some Arky but most seem to be sooner fans. I still believe that Arky and A&M will be a bigger rival than LSU and A&M. Those two schools have had some heated battles. BTW, do any of you know what team LSU beat that was ranked number one in a bowl game? I attended that game as a kid, and I still remember it. BTW, the Superdome was not even thought of back in those days. Tulane Stadium was the host of the Sugar Bowl.
