Against Alabama....

when the game really counted, as big an LSU fan as I am, I kinda believe we would have done better offensively with ULL's coach calling our offense than we did with Miles. If Florida sucks again this year, State's coach goes to Gainesville, and Hudspeth goes to the Bulldogs. I watched the NO Bowl; sure, it was SD State, but the Cajun QB from Lutcher was beter than either one of our two. Their tight end (Green)will start this year for cx776-oijjj..

Birdman --- during the ESPY's, when they showed Alabama's highlites against us (and there was no reciprocity; we had NO highlites), there was audible snickering in the crowd. But again, at this point, who gives a rat's arse; we were dominated like no other team in the history of college championship game football. And being on vacation, I have nothing better than do than yank the same tired chains on the forum who actually believed that at 9-0 we were still in the game.....uh, no, we weren't, it was over, and I have absolutely refused nor will I everv watch the replay, or more accurately, the re-massacre. And this year don't matter....it will take decades, if ever, to get that scrimmage out of my mind.

As bad as the offense was, LSU still had a chance late in the 3rd Q to cut the lead to 5. And early in the 4th Q to take the lead. JJ had three deep balls that I'd thrown properly they were sure TDs. But in the end the offensive gameplan sucked balls. We will see this fall what a difference a new QB makes in the offense.

Yay! Another post-mortem thread on the MNC debacle! We haven't talked about this near enough. We can have the JL vs. JJ debate, the why didn't we use Mett argument, the what was CLM thinking discussion, and then pick out all the players that had bad games. I can't wait for it all to unfold again like a comfortable old friend. My favorite part is when the random Arky fan posts "21-0". Woot!
