spurs could potentially be better off if they play their cards right, and make a few smart buys.
Bale is going to command a top 3 all time transfer fee, just let PSG and Real bid until they're blue in the face.

Agreed.
I just hope he goes to a club that I can root for. I like Real over Barca and don't mind PSG, so either would be ok.
Obviously I hope he stays. But with the fee he will demand, Spurs could come out better.
We really need to secure a champions league spot to go along with that.

Is Sundays fixture a must win for Spurs? I honestly don't think so, as long as we don't lose. That being said, this is an opportunity to take the bull by the horns in regards to a CL position.

We absolutely cannot lose on Sunday. I think a loss means we choke the rest of the season to miss the Champions League. I think a win pretty much assures we hang on. A tie will be okay, but I don't think it says much.

I guess a draw wouldn't kill us but I'd be disappointed with anything but a win.
Spurs are a better team than Arsenal. We were dominating the first matchup until Adebeyor went full retard. Never the same game after we went to ten men very early.
Also, our remaining schedule is rough. Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Man City, and Chelsea are all still left. A 3 point bigger gap between us and Arsenal would be HUGE.

I don't know if I would say we are definitely better than Arsenal... We have no striker presence at the moment. Ade has been suspect at best and can't find the net. Also, Ade got the red in the 14th minute (I believe) so we did not dominate for very long. COYS

It is a huge match for both squads. Y'all's future fixtures are tougher. A 7 point cushion would be huge for Spurs at this point. An Gunner victory is a one point lead and probably means you finish below Arsenal.
