That's me, and I can't put my finger on exactly why.
I fast travel, but it seems my biggest money sink is crafting. I haven't gone about it the best way I'm sure. Selling my ore and then buying it back later on when the mood to craft hits me. I should be banking my crafting material, but I'm not sure how I benefit from crating, money wise.

I have finally amassed 4g...lol but two of that will go away when I get my next skill book on my alt. :(
