F-150's are great tow vehicles. I have an 11 with a 6.2 and it pulls my Young 24 like a champ, and it isn't a light boat. Now the gas mileage on the other hand... lets not talk about that.

Gotcha. I know we've discussed this trillion times. Never gets old

From my understanding, blowers cant build enough boost at lower rpms b/c their boost is tied directly to the rpms of the crank. It is a linear curve. Turbo boost is unlimited and tied to load. It would be like an exponential curve. Blowers also max out on boost at the redline, where a turbo sort of can make unlimited boost.
Blowers dont have lag, but that is why newer diesels have VV Turbos and some run a small and large turbo
That is just the jist of it. I believe some of it has to do with how the motors actually work(fuel/air vs fuel/air/spark and timing of both) in the compression cycle. This is a pretty complicated question to ask, and I cannot fully think about while doing homework for 2 different classes.

This for sure. Some people just want to be players.

Turbo is the most efficient was to make boost. No parasitic drag and once the lag barrier is broken its nothing but power till it maxes out.
You should also see the size of the damn intercooler on that ecoboost. About 30" wide and 9" thick.

Was getting hot inside, had to get windows tinted. shite right now in Africa it's winter, kinda glad I am leaving next week. That's one way to keep miles down, drive it every other month.

You can go back to your second home but not before we hit up the Prop Stop & BRB Saturday.

I was at the prop stop last week. I was not in a picture though

Right and for the people worried about the heat on the turbos. Aren't all new turbos liquid cooled?
Shouldn't be an issue these days.

Even better I just signed the paperwork and AllState extended the warranty from 36 to 72 months and 36k miles to 100k miles bumper to bumper.

I am ready bro and I will even pull the boat and we will check out how it does. There will be a good size difference but we will at least get a feel for it.

I still prefer blowers. I hate the new vv turbos. Turbos are great when they are just turbos. Start putting more moving parts in it and you're asking for trouble.

IMO the V V turbos just dont have the capacity to make big power like one big turbo. They heat up like all hell, but make decent power at lower rpm, which is why people used them.
I am not sure what GM and Dodge have done with their turbo systems, but the new Ford diesels are running 2. One small one to spool up quickly, and a larger one to make the big power.
It doesn't work one damn bit. I have turbo lag to where I have made people lock up their brakes when I pull out in front of them. I have to stall up the motor to safely pull out into traffic. The small turbo doesnt do a damn thing, and I think it holds back the larger one from making power. When people tune the Fords, they take off the 2 turbo system and just run 1 big one.
Blowers just wont work with diesels. Diesel motors dont spin enough to make the kind of power that a gas motor would. Even if you put a smaller pulley on it, it wouldn't make power higher up in the powerband. Diesels dont make shite for power by themselves, and a turbo will boost basically as much as needed

Did they make you do any work on diesels for that ASE stuff?

Smart Man As I said Fords are best truck running by far.

I have a 4 door Lariat EcoBoost, got 20.5 mpg from Houma to Houston 2 weeks ago going 75-80 mph
