Based on the reviews that Hathaway is getting - including most of the critics who actually disliked the film - I think it's safe to say that she pulled the role off.

Y'all are all picking actresses based on looks. Catwoman is supposed to be sexy, but she is a very complex character.
Nearly all of the actresses listed would suck horribly as Catwoman.

Carey Mulligan would be excellent in my opinion. There is something nonthreatening and feminine about her that would make an excellent contrast to the "villainous" nature of the character. I wouldn't call her attractive though, looks too much like she could be your 12 year old kid sister.
Anyway, Jennifer Lawerance would be my first pick. As someone pointed out earlier, there isn't anything overtly attractive about her but she is a solid actress that could portray the character well.
