Whoa. How old are you if don't mind me asking? I couldn't imagine somebody watching all three Toy Story's and not like them. Even if it's not your thing, you would like them.

Pixar sets a pretty damn high bar. Here's some animated films I'd put on the same pedestal as Pixar.
Miyazaki's entire film library (saw my self listing 8 of them, so I figured I'd just brief it to that)
How to Train Your Dragon
Rango
Grave of the Fireflies
Shrek 1
The Prince of Egypt
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Mask of the Phantasm
The Lion King
Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast
Pinocchio
The Iron Giant

I agree with a few of Miyazaki's films, definitely.
But Rango and are the two I was looking for
I mean clearly I wouldn't consider all the pixar films except 3 better than The Lion King, Jungle Book, Fox and the Hound ect.
I was hoping my list would hint at the style/time period of movies I was talking about.

Mid 30's. I haven't watched TS3, Up, Wall-E, How to Train Your Dragon...because I know they're all gonna make me cry. Anything else, I just can't get charged up to watch.

Y'all put any other movies in the same league as Pixar?
I rank pretty much every animated movie ever made above Cars and Cars 2.

Pete's Dragon is the perfect film to remake given today's technology. The score and songs are delightful, and the characters are great.
Only problem I had with it was Helen Reddy. Great voice but god what a lousy actress.
Hollywood's best would line up to audition for the roles of Doc Terminus and his sidekick hoagie.

If they even make a Pete's Dragon DVD.
Saw it at Target. Almost bought it but fiance made fun of me so I put it back. But next time I'm in Target, dammit I'm buying it!!
I loved that movie as a child and it would seriously piss me off if they remade it.
Dammit, now I'm gonna have to watch it very soon.

5 Centimeters Per Second is my favorite anime movie. Toy Story is my favorite american one.

Pixar movies are great but I can think of several that are better.
The bad part is that some are PG or R rated and the Pixar ones are all G rated. So it's not a fair comparison.
I do like the animation in the Pixar movies. The studios that put out Shrek are close, but nowhere near as good. IMO.
Finding Nemo and Toy Story 2 are my favs.

As for enjoying more, Miyazaki's films in Japan are as good or better than Pixar's overall.
Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are better than any Pixar film to me, and Howl's Moving Castle and Nausicca of the Valley of the Wind are as good as anything Pixar has produced.
I was going to post here but I can see my work is done.
