claims there bad but doesnt give us anything to compare with.
it would be more useful if we compared his #'s in games they won by a large margin vs games they lost by a small margin.

So his last 5 minutes average out to 29 points and 10 rebounds. That sounds like really good numbers to me?

That's the thing. Bron is at his best when they run people out of the gym and are up by double digits most of the 4th quarter.
There's no masking the fact he crumbles under high pressure situations.
One of the analysts said it best last night in the pregame show, "The Heat will win this game by over 10 points or lose".

personally. I blame Erik Spoelstra for these #'s.
It's always someone else's fault for LeBron.
Cleveland teammates, Mike Brown, now it's Spoelstra and his teammates aren't good enough.
I guess leBron literally needs an entire all star starting 5 and Phil Jackson coaching to win a championship.

I would like for someone to do the math. Go and find the last 10 minutes stats of all these games where LeWalk disappeared and compare them to this other stat of 29pts 10rb.

The numbers the OP posted for his last five minutes would average out to 29 points and 10 rebounds in a 48 minute game. Im not saying Lebron is good in the clutch, but the numbers the OP posted actually are pro Lebron

shite, next time dont act a fool at a preseason celebration and tell us you are going to win 7 championships.

If I a team matched up with the Heat I am playing zone and collapsing on James everytime he touches the damn ball.
I would do this until the rest of the Heat step up and make wide open shots. The heat didn't make wide open jump shots against the Mavs in this situation and they didn't last night. This is even more of a problem for the Heat if Bosh isn't 100%.
Wade not being a reliable jump shooter is also killing them. They left him wide open on some long range jump shots and he was hesitating. Wade is suppose to be a top 5 player in the league and a guard.
Lineup Against the Zone:
G- Chalmers (needed to hit more wide open jumpers)
G- Wade (was extremely hesitant when left wide open closer to perimeter)
F- Battier (did not move enough and make enough open shots)
F- Lebron (the whole defense was designed to quadruple team him; only person really guarded)
F- Haslem (absolutely pointless; couldn't make shite and camped out in the middle of the zone making the celtics jobs easy; waste of space)

hence my sarcasm.
all the sudden Battier, Chalmers, Haslem, and their role players are the equivilant to the talent level of a high school team.
How bout this. Just to make it fair for poor LeBron:
- Get CP3 to come down from LA
- Let's get Dwight Howard also.
- Let's blowup the Bobcats organization and let the Heat hae their picks of role players and this year's draft pick.
- Then we'll have Pat Riley, Phil Jackson, and Jerry Sloan coach them.
Because apparently creating an All-Star team in Miami isn't enough for the GOAT.

I am fine with what you said. But I am just saying. People always retort that LeWalk is clutch because of these averages in the last whatever minutes of the games stats. Stats stats stats is what all these nerds show. I want someone to do the math, go find the stat for the last 10 minutes of all these games where he is nowhere to be found, and compare them. I agree he puts up great numbers. But numbers don't always win games. Ask Nique and MJ.

the numbers in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter IN THE GAMES THE HEAT LOST average out to 18 points, ZERO assists, and 3 rebounds.
Bron totaled 6 points, 0 assists, and 1 reb in the last 3 games in the final 5 minutes of the 4th.

Wade is the only reason Boston didn't blow the doors wide open in the last 4-5 minutes.

I know i know. I personally don't like Lebron either, i'm just pointing out that the OP should not be used as a negative.
Posted on 6/6/12 at 9:47 am to Kracka
I agree with what you say. Im just pointing out the OP shouldn't post those stats as a negative because they are positive numbers.

You guys realize that he only plays about 40 minutes of a 48 minute game right? So you cant say he would score 29 and 10 in a 48 minute game. It would be more like 24 and 8. Still good, but less than the 27 and 8 he averaged this season.
Posted on 6/6/12 at 9:52 am to RoscoeHarper
Point taken. Look, i agree Lebron is not as clutch as other greats, but he isn't terrible late either. He isn't a pure shooter so he never will knock down those clutch shots.
