Can someone explain to me how Sansa is just having her period and she's like 19?
Posted on 6/4/12 at 2:01 pm to Cajun Revolution
she was like 3 years younger in the book. basically the period storyline prevented Joffrey from marrying and fricking her until she "flowered"

On the whitewalkers- it seems that once someone dies, they turn into one of these things if not burned?
The wildling told Jon to burn the body, you don't want this one coming back after you.

We were invited into this thread. We were asked questions, which we answered to the best of our ability without spoiling. We then got attacked for doing what you all fricking wanted. It's not our fault that your reading comprehension is so pathetic that you think somebody telling you things that were explicitly spelled out in the first season is spoiling something.

I'll never understand why people who have read the books simply can't stay out of these threads. It's just like the Walking Dead threads where people can't NOT post things that they know.
If you've read the source material, you're playing on a completely different level than someone who hasn't. Anything you assume about the show is more than likely, at least in some part, based on your knowledge of the books. So why can't people just stay in threads where they belong and their information is relevant? The answer is just because that makes too much fricking sense and would be too easy. Also, some readers (not all, but some for sure) simply like to show off their knowledge or brag that they know what is going on or what is about to happen. It's fricking sad that they can't stick to the book threads for that discussion. And this TN fig demanding apologies or threatening spoilers..that shite has got to go. TN, I'm told you're suspended, and likely will be for a while. So feel free to read this and go frick yourself.

I'll read the non-book reader threads just to see what kind of theories they come up, but I usually don't comment very much about anything.

Don't worry about that douche posting fake spoilers trying to get a rise out of you. While waiting for next season rewatch the episodes and try to pick up stuff you might have missed the first time. Prepare yourself because Storm of Swords is probably the best book I have ever read, and the best of the series. If you think you enjoyed these past two seasons, you don't know what is coming!

I still do. Regardless, it was the ultimate douche move. I hope this bitch becomes a pariah in here.
Well, CE requested his ban on the help board, so guess we'll see what happens on that one.

And that makes sense. But apparently you're smart enough to not engage in discussions where your knowledge could potentially frick someone else's up.

it's really not hard to not spoil things and ruin it for other ppl while still discussing certain aspects of the show, but people are stupid.

I did (accidentally mind you) give away a very very minor spoiler (honestly I didn't think it was one, really still don't) during the first season whenever there was only one thread for the show, but since then I pretty much shut up so I don't ruin anything. I know I wouldn't want anyone ruining it for me.

It's fun to see other folks theories on stuff and see their reactions. It's similar to having friends read book series and see them react to thing the same way you did, or differently as the case may be.
Also some book readers get way too pissy over changes and it's way more fun to discuss things with folks coming to it fresh.
But I agree that folks need to GTFO with spoilers and discussing future seasons in here. Clarifying a question asked based on info that is known in the tv series is one thing, but giving forward knowledge to answer questions is quite another.
And being a dick like TN Bhoy is just straight up BS.
It's pretty sad particularly since the first seasons thread went really well and pretty much spoiler free. I guess the success of the first season just led to so many more readers that we had a number of spoilerish retards pop up.

Wow, Admins took a hatchet to this thread. Much appreciated.
I appreciate the book readers in here who have answered questions using only what we know from the TV version.
It appears my theory on benjen is off, but I am interested to see where he pops up again.
Where are Arya and crew headed now?

I think there is a good chance benjen is dead but I could be wrong. I was also sad to see Arya not go with the assasin. What was the deal with the assasin changing his face? Was that some kind of magic or some training he has? I also wonder if he is connected to her sword play instructor in any way.

You and me both on where Benjen pops up for sure.
She told Jaqen she had to go find her brother and mother (and her sister as an afterthought, yeah, guess I need to find Sansa too ). Arya is awesome.

Of course. But that should only be done if you're an adult who can manage to keep his (obviously book-biased) opinions to himself. Most people are. Unfortunately, some are not. And it's one thing to see what nonreaders are saying and seeing their reactions and whatnot. It's a completely different animal to play the whole "Oh you JUST WAIT..." or "If you think that was awesome...." games when you clearly know what's up.
And even if some of the spoilers TN posted are fake and only a couple things are real, the whole act is still bullshite. Some people want to be completely ignorant of the information in the books and only want to watch the show for what it is. That's why there are two very clearly different discussion threads on here every week. Yet time after time, people barge up into the wrong threads talking about shite or giving away shite that shouldn't be talked about. It's just weird.
