They don't taste as good that size. Theyre like catching a very heavy piece of plywood that's stuck in the mud.

Never paid them much attention. I've heard of halibut and seen fish pics like that. But never put the two together.

One of my buddies guides for em. I just remember that pic going around. Actually that pic got a bill rolling to set a limit but got shot down. It will happen eventually only state on the gulf that doesn't have a limit on them.

FWIW my grandfather used to catch hardheads and bleed them, skin the and fry them.

He also would eat squirrel brains, bull nuts and the shell from soft shell turtles.

Raw sashimi salmon is my favorite.


As for cooked fish: Mahi, Flounder, and Grouper

My buddy has been trying to catch the turd hustlers for one of his fellow workers that keep bugging him for fish, butt is having trouble.
