couple of things:

Why the hell is a first round DE almost always a bust?

Agree with some but not all. Not sure how you keep all the ends? Not that many LB's will be kept. Wilson's versatility wins him a sopt somewhere.

1 of the fg kickers has to go. Old or new??

Toon will probably be that only rookie WR in the mix (no more than 5 kept, because of Graham's ability to be 6). Yep Arrington gone.

Tightend will be tough. Think Thomas is gone. If Graham gets nicked, Ouch!

Yep, gotta find another corner or, lookout! toast city.

I'm kind of surprised this hasn't gotten more play.

I never felt nervous with Kasay lining up - I ALWAYS feel nervous with Hartley lining up.

Sean Payton seems to really love Hartley and kickers sometimes take a while to become reliable so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Personally I'd go with Hartley and pray it works out, but I'd be more than fine if we stick with Kasay.

Good point about the TEs. What are the odds we pickup a vet TE before camp? Though, I guess the only guys left are Shockey and Shianco (Vikings). I was surprised we never picked one up or drafted one when we showed interest in Dreesen early in FA.

I wish Tracy Porter luck. I think our defense is going to be nasty this year and is going to win us a few games.

They drafted him to be a CB and are very high on him. Supposedly he will compete with Patrick for the #3 spot.

If we can use Martez Wilson at DE full time, that might allow us to release one of the vet DEs on the roster, which would free up cap space, which can be used for another player.

Wasn't his big problem setting the edge last year? I'd be a fan of this if he could though.

Kicker is a hilarious NFL position. You can pick them off the waiver wire at any point in the year, or hell even get them off the street. Go with the youth, and if it doesn't work out, call Kasay.

Or do it vice versa. Either way I hope the Saints are carrying 3 kickers on the roster like they did a few years ago
