Foo Fighters at Jazz Fest

Best performance I've seen in a long time. Maybe best ever. I don't have too many other performances I've seen to compare to, but they put on an excellent show today. Played nonstop for 2 hrs. Dave Grohl is a rock god...

A little tidbit...They played at the state palace theater in the spring of 96 I believe. I was 15 and thought the concert was incredible...however, it was supposedly one of their worst shows ever (per them) as they had partied for a day and a half prior to the show in NOLA. They've said in multiple interviews since that they want to put on an extra good show every time they are in New Orleans since.

I was amazed at their energy, they really leave it all on stage. Grohl was a great showman. I'm not the biggest FF fan, but they were certainly worth the entry price

Lived here my whole life and only been 3 times. I absolutely hate Jazzfest though. Would have seen Foo if I didn't hate JF so much.

I didn't know until recently that they went into his garage and used an old recorder and that was it to create the new record. (I'm sure it was redone in a studio but still pretty cool)
